  2. How to register through Website

    3. Please register through 26th Asia Area Convention Website. You can get variety of information on the convention program, excursions and accommodations through the Website. You can reserve the hotels in real time and also payment processing can be done on the spot.

      • Receive Messages from Host Committee
    2. Characteristics of the Registration System
      • Firstly, please register your personal information such as name, address, e-mail address. Then proceed to the registration for the Convention, hotel reservation and payment procedure.
      • Once you have registered your personal information, by logging-in to your 'My Page' using your Login ID and Password which you decided by yourself, you can do the registration for the Convention, hotel reservation and payment procedure separately. Also you can alter, add and cancel your previous registration and reservation freely.
      • You can register your family or other accompanying persons together with your registration. In this case you will be the 'Application Representative' and other persons will be 'Member(accompanying persons)'. The communication from Host Committee will be made to the 'Application Representative' and all the payments including for the 'Member' should be done by the 'Application Representative'. Under this rule, you can even register for whole club members(50 persons maximum).
      • Please note that this registration system serves as the registration system for Asia Area International Youth Convocation as well and several items are for it only.

      [ID APPLICATION]

      1. As the first step, please click 'ID Application' button then check the 'I agree to the above policies' regarding the privacy policy and click 'Next'.
      2. Please fill in or select items at the 'Personal Information' screen. You do not have to fill in Asia Area Youth Convocation related items and the items only for Japanese participants

        3. <NOTES>

        • Items marked with a red asterisk are required items.
        • Please choose Login ID and Password by yourself.
        • Please fill in District and Club Name of Menette(Accompanying Person) as well.
        • Please select 'E-mail address' at the 'E-mail Address' in 'Contact Information' area.
      3. After entering required and optional item, please click 'Next' button.
      4. If there are any required items missing or entered wrongly, the error messages will be shown in red. Please check and enter again(you have to re- enter Login ID and Password).
      5. After completing 'Personal Information screen', 'Register' button will appear. Please click it to proceed. If you would like to alter, please click 'Edit' button at the top right of the page.

      [ADDITIONAL MEMBERS]

      • If you would like to register the members(accompanying persons), please fill in the number of accompanying person and click 'Next' button. As to the members, address, phone number and E-mail address are not required.
      • Any kind of information after the registration will be sent by e-mail only to you('Application Representative') and all the payments should be done by you('Application Representative)'. If you would like to get information each or/and would like to pay individually, please register separately. You can add the members afterwards at any time.

      [REGISTRATION]

      1. After you have completed ID Application, please proceed to 'Registration' at the top of ''My Page' to complete the registration of the Convention.
      2. Please click 'New/Additional Application' at the 'Registration' area.
      3. Please select and check the person to register then click 'Next' button.
      4. At the 'Application Input: Registration' screen, Please make sure that 'Asia Area Convention Participant' is selected and chose your preference for the excursions and click 'Next 'button.
      5. Please confirm 'Confirmation: Registration' screen and click 'Registration' button.
      6. You will see the message of 'your registration is completed .Your receipt No. is XXXXX'. Please proceed to payment processing by clicking 'Go to Payment processing 'button or hotel reservation by clicking 'Accommodation' or leave registration system for time being by clicking 'My Page' button.

      Please pay by credit card for the registration fee and accommodations.So long as keeping the deadline, you may pay later watching currency rate.

      [ACCOMMODATIONS]

      • You can make reservations for the hotel in real time. The hotels in the list are recommended by JTB(the official travel agent of the Convention) and reserved at the competitive rate. You can make reservation from July 30 to Aug 2. Please select the hotels according to your preference and budget. By clicking the name of the Hotel in the list you can get information in detail with photos and map.
      • You may arrange your accommodations by yourself on your own responsibility. In some cases you can get cheaper rate when making reservation through the hotel website or reservation service provider even for the hotel in the list. For your information, you can find URLs of more economical hotels around the venue.
      • If you would like to stay in a room with other persons than 'Member', Please click 'Other guest ID' and fill in the 'Inquiry No.' of the person.

      [ALTERATION, ADDITION, CANCELLATION]

      • You can alter or add to your Personal Information at any time. For example you can add your flight information when you have finalized your itinerary.
      • Also you can alter, add and cancel your registration for the Convention and hotel reservation through this registration system. Please note that in some cases of cancelation, cancel charge will be applied.

  4. Asia Area Youth Convocation

    5. Asia Area Youth Convocation will be held from July 29th to August 2nd in Kyoto area. The registration fee is JPY 27,000.The details are to be announced later.

    Characteristics

    1.The summer festival in Japan with the experience of tea ceremony and making Kyoto confectionery

    The summer festival in Japan at the convention venue.

    You can taste the light snacks such as shaved ice, cotton candy and so on and also can enjoy the games. You can also experience making Kyoto confectionery and tea ceremony.

    The participants from overseas can wear the yukata(summer kimono) to enjoy the festival more.(with no extra charge, 100 participants maximum)

    2.Theatergoing of the Kyoto traditional art Noh play

    As a classical art representing Japan, Noh play is highly evaluated both domestically and internationally.You will enjoy watching the Noh play with the guidance of the history of Noh play by Soichiro Hayashi of Kyoto Kanze school which started in 1625 of Edo period.

    3. World Heritage Site of Arashiyama Tenryu-ji Temple, and the trolley train

    In Tenryu-ji temple built in 1339 by distinguished priest Musou Soseki, is the famous Japanese garden of the Middle Ages, a reason why registered as a World Heritage Site.

    Enjoy the refreshing view of 20 minutes from the nostalgic trolley train running along Hozu-River Valley from Arashiyama.

    4. World Heritage Site of Mt. Hiei Enryakuji Temple, and Zen meditation experience

    Enryakuji Temple built in 788 is an important temple for Japanese Buddhism, and has many cultural remains such as Komponchudo, the national treasure. You can also experience Zen meditation.

    Lake Biwa, the greatest lake in Japan can be seen from the top of Mt. Hiei.

    5. World Heritage Site of Uji Byodo-in Temple and Uji tea experience

    Uji Byodo-in temple is located in the south of Kyoto and registered as a World Heritage Site as the cultural assets of ancient city, Kyoto.

    Recently, national treasure Phoenix Hall was renovated for the first time in 56 years. Many cultural remains are nearby and you can enjoy taking a walk around.

    Moreover, you can learn how to enjoy Uji tea which is the first- rank Japanese tea.

    6. The sake museum in Fushimi, and the Terada-ya visit

    Gekkeikan Sake Company, LTD. is one of the oldest sake brewers in Kyoto.

    The museum has exhibits related to sake brewing with superb visual display.

    Sake tasting and souvenir shopping are also available.

    You can also look around the old castle town of Fushimi and visit the famous boathouse Terada-ya.

    7. Free walk around Okazaki in Kyoto

    Nanzen-ji Temple and many other famous temples, Heian Jingu, the art museum, the zoo, etc. are around Okazaki nearby the convention venue(The Westin Miyako Kyoto).You can fully enjoy the history and the culture of Kyoto in this area.
